We’re excited to announce that we have successfully received funding from the International Engagement Fund from Creative Australia to embark on our exchange trip to Australia with Bangarra Youth and Education Program.  The exciting cultural exchange is between Artistry Youth Dance (AYD) and Bangarra Dance Theatre’s Youth and Education Program. The exchange will take place in Sydney in August 2026, with a reciprocal visit to London planned in 2027. The exchange will connect young dancers of African and Caribbean heritage based in the United Kingdom with young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from Australia. Together, they will share culture, explore identity and expression, and create two new collaborative dance works - empowering young artists and building lasting international connections in the youth dance sector. For this project, Artistry Youth Dance has been assisted by the Australian Government through Creative Australia, its principal arts investment and advisory body.
