Kamara Gray

Kamara is an award winning dance teacher and performer of Jamaican heritage who has taught extensively in the UK, Australia and Kuwait. She was born in Papua New Guinea and grew up in Sydney, Australia where she began studying dance at age 4. Kamara continued her dance training at the Ailey School in New York and Dance World 301 in Melbourne, Australia before moving to London where she completed her teacher training with the British Ballet Organization (BBO).
Kamara has taught and lectured at numerous schools, colleges, and universities including: Urdang Academy, Buckinghamshire New University, City and Islington College, Irie Dance Theatre, and the Royal Academy of Dance school. She previously worked in Kuwait, where she was the Head of Theatre at the British Academy of International Arts, and introduced the BBO tap dance syllabus and examinations to the country. As a performer, her credits include film, television and live events including the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony as a Lead Tap dancer, the MTV Europe Awards and L’Heure Espagnole with the Royal Opera.
Kamara is the 2021 recipient of the One Dance UK Award for 'Dance in the Community'. She is also on the Board of Trustees for the English National Ballet.
Esme Benjamin

Esme Benjamin is a researcher and movement artist who investigates the body and its place in the world. Esme began her journey at Dixon Woods School of Dance, later training professionally at London Studio Centre gaining a BA in Dance Theatre with a Contemporary Dance focus, and going on to do a Master’s Degree in Dance & Somatic Wellbeing: Connections to the Living Body at UCLAN. Esme is currently a Practice Research PhD student, fully funded by AHRC (Midlands-4-Cities), at the Centre for Dance Research in Coventry.
Esme also creates her own work including internationally award winning film SOMA with KWAM Collective and her most current theatre work, "To Sea Through Blood" (2025). Esme was Choreodrome Artist 2023, Thea Barnes Legacy Fund Awardee 2024 and Jerwood Choreographic Research Project Recipient 2025.
For the last fifteen years, Esme has performed and taught both nationally and internationally and is currently an associate artist for physical theatre company Babel Theatre and Movement Angol, under the guidance of Black British Dance Pioneer Francis Angol. Esme is currently in Farrell Cox's Circus Theatre production "Cocoon" (2025).
Paige Shand Haami

Paige Shand Haami (Te Āti Haunui-a-Pāpārangi), originally from Aotearoa, New Zealand, is a 2014 Contemporary Major graduate of the New Zealand School of Dance. Since graduating, Paige has worked with multiple contemporary dance and theatre companies including Tawata Productions, Atamira Dance Company, Black Grace, Dance North Scotland, and Okareka Dance Company, touring both nationally and internationally across North America, Hawai‘i, and Europe.
In 2019, Paige joined the legendary cabaret company Le Crazy Horse de Paris in Paris, France. Known by her stage name ‘Lola Kashmir’, Paige danced in the company for five years, choreographed new work, and performed for renowned figures such as Janet Jackson, Zendaya, Idris Elba, Tom Holland, Selena Gomez, Charli XCX, and many more. She recently danced alongside drag superstar Violet Chachki and K-pop superstar Lisa from BLACKPINK.
Alongside her performance career, Paige has taught workshops and classes all over the world and continues to share her expertise internationally.
Stephen Quildan

Stephen Quildan trained at The BRIT School of Performing Arts and Technology, and later Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance were he achieved a First Class (BA Hons) degree. His background spans Ballet, Contemporary and Street dance.
As a dancer he has worked for Rambert, English National Ballet, Phoenix Dance Theatre, Opera de Lyon, Noism Company Niigata(Japan), Peter Schaufuss Ballet and others. He has also danced many works, both in collaborations and re-staging's including, Christopher Bruce, Merce Cunningham, Didy Veldman, Fukiko Takase, Mark Baldwin, Itzik Galili, Julie Cunningham, Nanine Linning, Studio Wayne McGregor, Alexander Whitely, Yuki Mori, Dane Hurst, Ben Duke and others.
He has taught at Rambert School, Rambert, Ateno Danza, Urdang, Luz Poland, Nephrite Japan, London Studio Centre, Alexander Whitely Dance Company and The Brit School.
Nahum McLean

Nahum McLean, based in London, is a choreographer, dancer, and rehearsal director. His career spans contemporary dance, commercial theatre, and film. He began his training in Manchester under Darren Pritchard and Imani Jendai, continuing at The Hammond School.
Early in his career, Nahum trained and worked with Laura Alonso in Havana, Cuba, performing and choreographing for Ballet Laura Alonso. He then moved to New York to study at The Ailey School as a scholar, earning The Alvin Ailey Scholarship Award. Nahum performed with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and worked as Rehearsal Director and Assistant for Dr. George Faison in The Wiz. He also collaborated with Harambee Dance and New York Dance Lab, working with Camille A. Brown, Marcelo Gomes, and Andy Blankenbuelher.
Nahum toured internationally with West Side Story and performed in London's West End in Inala - A Zulu Ballet, also touring in Singapore and China. He joined the Richard Alston Dance Company and has performed at New York and London Fashion Weeks, in music videos, and in fashion campaigns. Recently, he appeared in the movie "Barbie" and the upcoming "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice." Founder of the ADDA (African Diaspora Dance Association), Nahum tours his own work nationally and lectures at various universities and dance schools across the UK.
Oraine Frater

Oraine is a talented dancer and teacher who has an open mind to being exposed to different genres of dance. He was one of the Assistant Artistic Directors and a former principal dancer with L’Acadco: A United Caribbean Dance Force where he performed and toured to several countries including Suriname, United States, Japan, Barbados, Trinidad, Cayman Islands and Anguilla.
He is a certified L’Antech instructor and examiner and a former resident part-time teacher and Assistant Artistic Director of Fortes Feed. Oraine is also a graduate from the University of Technology, where he holds a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Arts Management.
Oraine recently finished touring with the award-winning Broadway production: Disney’s The Lion King “U.K, Ireland & Switzerland Tour”. He has also performed with BOP Jazz Theatre Company , Classically British & Co and Edinbrugh Multicultural Festival.
