WELCOME 2023!

We hope you have all had a wonderful start to the New Year!

Over at Artistry Youth Dance, we are easing ourselves back into action with many excited things already planned for 2023 that we look forward to sharing with you all. We will be back in the studio this coming Sunday and cannot wait to welcome all of our dancers back.

Thank you to all of our community for your support over the last year. We do hope that you can join us at our forthcoming events, and hope to have the chance to connect with you further in 2023.

In the meantime, we hope you have a joyful and fulfilling 2023.

In Memory of Lou Mitchell
We would like to take a moment to honour Lou Mitchell who recently passed away. She shared a love for dance and wished to support the dreams and desires of young aspiring dancers. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with all of her family and friends.

Thank you to all those that have donated to Artistry Youth Dance in Lou Mitchell's memory. Including Maureen Morgan, Janice Sadler, Lizzie, Colin Parnell, Kerry Graham and Wendy G Fore.

"In memory of Lou Mitchell, who was an inspiration to us all to just keep dancing. It was her happy place." - Lizzie

"Donation made in memory of the lovely Lou Mitchell and in the hope of inspiring young dancers. Sending our deepest condolences to her family from Colin Parnell and Kerry Graham."

"We would like to make a donation as per the request of our staff member Lou Mitchell who sadly passed away last month. Bright Little Stars Nursery Harrow" - Wendy G Fore

We are extremely grateful for your kind support and this will help us to continue our work of empowering young people through creative dance development. Developing the next generation of black dance artists and nurturing a more culturally diverse dance community in the UK.

If you would like to support us in 2023...

Artistry Youth Dance is a non-profit community organisation, we rely on our earned income and some grants from trusts and companies to support our work. This enables us to keep the programme accessible and to keep our student fees as low as we can. However, we still need to raise funds to help us with running costs to present work and to ensure that we remain visible in the dance sector.

Our goal is to contribute to a more culturally diverse representation of performers in the UK dance industry, our role and our work with young dancers has never been more important.

How to support us
There are many ways you can support the work we do at Artistry Youth Dance including making financial donations or speaking to the organisations you are a part of about supporting us.

  • On our website we have a new Support Us Section
  • It is easy to use and allows you to send donations as a one off or monthly payment
  • For donations by cheque or Bank transfer, or for any queries, please contact us info@artistryyouthdance.com
  • If you would like to discuss how organisations can support the work we do please contact info@artistryyouthdance.com

We thank you for your support in helping the next generation of young Black dancers reach their potential, to shine and soar.
