Inviting young black dancers aged 12 – 19 years, of African or Caribbean descent, who have an interest in dance. 

All levels are welcome.

Join us for an exclusive week of dance workshops and panel discussions with leading vocational schools, colleges, and conservatoires. Participants will gain an insight into the dance industry, as well as information on various training and progression routes. 

Workshop dates are: Thurs 28th - Sun 31st October: 9.30am - 5.00pm

The event will include:

Workshops with leading vocational schools, colleges, and universities, including:

Audition class and SCHOLARSHIPS awarded to train at these incredible schools!

Dance styles include:

  • Commercial

  • Hip-hop

  • Jazz

  • Musical Theatre

  • Contemporary/Modern

  • Ballet

  • African Dance

The aim is for young black dancers to have a better knowledge of available training routes in dance and performing arts. We want to promote diversity in dance, and for more young dancers of African and Caribbean descent to be uplifted, inspired, and encouraged to pursue their dreams in dance, the Arts, or whatever career path they choose.
