Auditions
Acceptance to the youth dance company is by audition, and we hold auditions once a year in September for new dancers to join both our Junior and Senior Companies.
For the audition, you will have a jazz dance class with a short routine to learn. You do not need to prepare anything.
We want you to be relaxed and to enjoy yourself. The dance audition will be followed by a short one-to-one interview with someone on the Artistry Youth Dance team.

+ When are auditions?
Auditions take place every year in July. You must register to attend.
+ Where are auditions?
You'll be given the location after registering for the audition.
+ Do I need to prepare anything for auditions?
No. For the audition, you will have a jazz dance class with a short routine to learn. Following the dance audition, you'll have a short one-to-one interview with someone on the Artistry Youth Dance team.
+ What should I wear?
Attire: Please wear appropriate dance attire (e.g— leotard, vest, leggings, tracksuit pants/shorts)
Shoes: Bare feet, foot-thongs, jazz shoes, or ballet shoes (you do not need to buy these items if you do not already have them. Please wear what you already own)
