We are holding an exclusive workshop with Jeroboam Bozeman, current dancer with the world renown Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Take part in this exciting class with one of the most captivating dance artists of our time. This is an opportunity not to be missed! 

Places are available for young people aged 12 – 19 years, of African or Caribbean descent, who have an interest in dance. Intermediate level (not suitable for beginners).

About Jeroboam:

JEROBOAM BOZEMAN was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. At the age of twelve, he began his dance training under Ruth Sistaire at the Ronald Edmonds Learning Center. He later joined Creative Outlet Dance Theatre of Brooklyn and was granted full scholarships at the Joffrey Ballet School and Dance Theatre of Harlem.

Jeroboam is a gold-medal recipient of the NAACP ACT-SO Competition in Dance. He performed in Elton John and Tim Rice’s Broadway musical Aida (international tour in China). In addition, he was a part of the Philadelphia Dance Company, Philadanco, and Donald Byrd’s Spectrum Dance Theater. In 2012, he became a member of Ailey II. After one year, Jeroboam became a company member with the Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre.

Jeroboam has guest with The Royal Ballet in 2016. While thriving in his dance career, he also earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Industrial Organization from Argosy University in 2017. Shortly after graduating, Dance Magazine nominated Jeroboam as 25 to Watch in 2018.

Jeroboam found his passion for choreography in 2009. He was the movement consultant for the Philadelphia Theatre Company play “Ruined,” by Lynn Nottage under the direction of Maria Mileaf. He’s assisted in choreographing on shows like So You Think You Can Dance. He premiered Maombolezo at The Spirit of A Movement presented by Global Citizen.

Jeroboam has been featured in numerous publications and television programs, including HBO’s Vice News, Dance Magazine, New York Times, Lincoln Center at the movies, Time Out New York, CBS, Rolling Out, Harlem World Magazine, Essesnce Magazine, Wall Street Journal and Double Magazine. He’s currently starring in Bud Light’s NFL’s 100th commercial and Neiman Marcus’s Holiday Campaign. Jeroboam Bozeman is also working with Boaz Yakin as the star in his new film “Once Again.”
